The Domestic Abuse Handbook was produced by The Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan, Inc.. It defines abuse, to gives support, encouragement, and information to survivors and their friends and family members.

The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is a comprehensive collection and distribution center for information, research and emerging policy on sexual violence intervention and prevention. It provides an extensive on-line library and customized technical assistance, as well as, coordinates National Sexual Assault Awareness Month initiatives.
