My research interests center around economic justice for survivors of intimate partner abuse, and evaluating community-based domestic abuse victim service programs. My current research focuses on the impact of abuse on women's employment outcomes. Specifically, I am investigating the directional relationship among abuse, employment, and mental health. In addition to this research, I am also conducting an evaluation of the Survivor's Giving Circle, a community-based program designed to provide direct monetary assistance to survivors of intimate partner abuse. The goal of this innovative program is to provide survivors with financial assistance as a means of overcoming financial barriers to economic security.
