My research interests focus on the relational dynamics of Latino couples and bi-cultural couples, intimate partner violence in Latino populations, and cultural adaptation of evidence-based parenting interventions. Specifically, I am currently implementing a couple communication program for Latino/a couples in Spanish and English. I am also involved in a research project aimed at identifying precursors of accountability and change among Latino men who batter. Finally, I am collaborating in a study focused on conducting the cultural adaptation of an evidence-based parenting intervention to be disseminated among Latino/a populations.
