Abbie has a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Belmont University and a Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University and just entered the MSU PhD Social Work program in Fall 2018. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten years of experience practicing in Tennessee, Texas, Guatemala, and Mexico. Her clinical focus has been trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence particularly with the Latinx population. Her research interest is to research and develop culturally relevant models of treatment for this population.
